What the Good Neighbours Network is

The Good Neighbours Network is a unique and valuable asset to local communities, providing practical neighbourly help in a caring, people focused and safe way.

Comprising of over 120 groups, of which Compassionately Portsmouth are one, each are independent and able to respond directly to the needs of their own community. All groups are supported by the Network Hub, who provide safeguarding, insurance, training and a GNN (Good Neighbours Network) tool kit, of policies, procedures and hands on advice for the recruitment and management of a healthy volunteer army.

Funded by the Adult Services Department of Hampshire County Council and the Clinical Commissioning Groups in Hampshire, the Network has been so successful it has spread across Hampshire offering dependable, trustworthy help.
